baseball-bat-SQA Kingston man is facing felony charges after he allegedly tried to settle a dispute with a baseball bat. Tyrone S. McMillian, 45, was arrested on Jan. 23 at noon following the incident in the Town of Ulster. According to Ulster town police, McMillian confronted an acquaintance with a baseball bat following an earlier dispute. Police say McMillian damaged the victim’s vehicle with the bat before striking him in the head and arm with it. McMillian fled the scene on foot, but was spotted and taken into custody by police a short time later. McMillian was charged with felony counts of second-degree assault and third-degree criminal mischief, as well as misdemeanor fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned in Ulster Town Court and sent to the Ulster County Jail with no bail. The victim did not suffer any serious injury and refused medical attention at the scene, police said.
