A 49-year-old and 73-year-old were arrested by Saugerties Town Police after the two got into a fight at a youth football game on Sunday, Sept. 25.
According to town police, Stephan R. Williams, 49, of Accord and William A. Harris, 73, of Ellenville, began fighting during the game at Mount MarionElementary School. When an off-duty cop tried to stop the fight, the cop got hit by Williams, police said.
Both men were charged with disorderly conduct, a violation. Williams was also charged with second-degree harassment, a violation.
Both were released with appearance tickets for town court.
